Geri Denterlein, President

Geri Denterlein Well known and highly respected in the industry, Geri Denterlein has advised some of the most recognizable names in Boston. From Swedish retail giant IKEA to Children's Hospital Boston and, most recently, Mandarin Oriental, Boston, Denterlein's client list continues to grow.

In addition to forging strategic partnerships for individuals, business and non-profits, Ms. Denterlein spearheads marketing and public relations campaigns and oversees all accounts. She also provides one-on-one communications and public affairs counsel to CEOs.

Denterlein Worldwide Public Affairs combines its comprehensive knowledge of the Boston region and its key players with a keen understanding of the current issues and public policies affecting businesses throughout the Commonwealth. Denterlein's portfolio includes healthcare, real estate, financial services and high profile non-profit firms. Current and past clients include Nutter, McClennen & Fish, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Samuels & Associates and Massachusetts Public Higher Education.

Ms. Denterlein possesses more than 25 years of experience in journalism and public relations. Widely published, Ms. Denterlein shares her knowledge and analysis in local and national publications and as a frequent speaker in Boston as well as many other cities across the country. Ms. Denterlein's work has appeared in the Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, Women's Business and Inc. Magazine. She is also the author of The Power Chicks' Guide to Boston: In their own words, a guidebook on how to achieve influence in the workplace.

Prior to her consulting career, Ms. Denterlein spent nearly a decade at WBZ television. During her tenure as a senior manager, she researched, wrote and presented on-air political analysis and was responsible for government affairs. She was also featured on WBZ-AM with the "State House Update".

Ms. Denterlein's government service includes experience as communication director for the department of Mental Health. She also was an associate press secretary to Governor Michael S. Dukakis.

Geri is a board member of MassINC, A Better City, Downtown Crossing Association, and a Trustee of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation. She also serves as Chair of the Board of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay. Ms. Denterlein was honored by the Boston Chamber of Commerce with the Pinnacle Award for achievement in management.

Ms. Denterlein holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
